Know

Col. 1:17:

And he [Jesus] is before all things, and by him all things consist. KJV

He [Jesus] existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. NLT

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. NIV

Know best…

Jesus is unoriginated (uncreated; existing forever). He is the fountainhead of eternity.

Jesus existed before forever and will exist after forever.

Within the mysteries and marvels in our cosmos, ALL questions are answered in, answered by, and answered through Jesus Christ.

In him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28)

Jesus holds together ATOMS (the smallest pieces of an element).

Atoms cluster to make up MOLECULES. Gatherings of molecules form tiny organic cities inside us called CELLS. These cellular cities unite and form TISSUES. Tissues support ORGANS that compose the wondrous smiles of children and grandchildren.

Along with “life,” Jesus (God) breathed PURPOSE into every human being (the reason we are being held together).

Volumes of books have been written about finding “purpose” (meaning, making a difference, finding a niche, achieving success, etc.), but God’s Word spells out how to find purpose:

Are you ready for this?

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life [life with meaning/fulfillment] through our knowledge of him [Jesus] who called us by his own glory and goodness.  (II Peter 1:3)

Knowing Jesus (finding fulfillment) is as easy as talking to Jesus and reading his Word, the Bible.

The next time you feel like your world and emotions are flying to pieces, remember:

He is holding ALL things together INCLUDING YOU.

Knowing Jesus is the ONLY way to find your purpose and fulfillment in life.

Speak to Jesus about every issue, and believe what he says about you in his Word.

Knowing Jesus is knowing best.
