Anyways

“Anyway” means: In spite of everything; without regard to drawbacks or consequences.

Matt. 17:20 [Jesus said] …Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

“Anyway” is the powerful fulcrum that, with proper positioning, leverages our choices. Anyway can help us “lift” the impossible.

We position negative and positive “anyways” every day.

We eat it anyway, or look at it anyway, or go there anyway.

The gauge blinks empty, but we attempt to drive to the gas station anyway.

We know we must get up at 4 a.m., but we binge on Netflix anyway.

Even though we have a sneezy cold we go to work anyway.

We may not feel like it, but after work we hit the treadmill anyway.

We can barely keep our eyes open, but we pray and read God’s Word anyway.

When we let Jesus adjust our anyways (fulcrum/pivot points) the mountain before us MOVES. God leverages our choices and make the impossible possible.

With no armor David faced Goliath anyway.

Despite his fear, Gideon shattered jars (instead of drawing swords) anyway.

Jesus faced crucifixion and went to Jerusalem anyway to secure our salvation.

For a follower of Christ, God will leverage our choices whenever we:

Submit to Jesus anyway.

Risk it all for Christ anyway.

Give our talents to God anyway…

God knows our idiosyncrasies and weaknesses, yet he chose us to serve him anyway. Let Him leverage your Spirit-led anyways and move the impossible!

Romans 4:17 [God] …calls into being things that were not.

Col. 3;23, 24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
