After 30 years in Chugiak, Alaska (20 miles north of Anchorage), the Chinooks (warm winds) stir up longings for a new season to commence. February is our moose’s tail-end of winter. It can be a month of surprises: hard freezes, no snow, deep snow, high winds–we’ve seen’em all. What’s your guess?
