God’s justice outguns every terrestrial court that has existed. God’s justice steamrolls every model of jurisprudence (philosophy and principles that lead courts to make the decisions). Your trial, the verdict, and your sentence has been absorbed into Jesus Christ.

As Sovereign God yet man, Jesus Christ stands as your perpetual heavenly defender. He lives inside your circumstance at this moment. He understands you and identifies with your predicament, your turmoil, and your confusion because he hung on the cross IN YOUR SKIN. 

God’s impartial and equitable justice is satisfied with Christ’s blood. Jesus continually presides over your life as your guardian. You walk as a free man or woman, given the right to choose the best way to serve your Savior.

Jesus paid for your bonehead choices. While nailed upon a Roman cross, all of the imaginable and unimaginable horrors that can be perpetrated UPON or BY mankind crushed Jesus, including broken relationships, abandonment, betrayals, diseases…

You are forgiven for your natural tendency to muck up your life. Jesus remains (paradoxically, inexplicably) God and man today, and he isn’t looking for a reason to weasel out of his promises to you–even when you blunder under the curse of lust or fear or rash decisions. With this “extended warranty” your eternity is secured by Jesus’ blood.

And finally, you are gifted with a beyond-natural ambition and ability to overcome ANY destructive lifestyle.  

This is what it means to be “saved by his blood.” It is God’s proof of love to you.

“For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him [Jesus], and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” (Col. 1:19-20)

“In him [Jesus] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses,according to the riches of his grace…” (Eph. 1:7)
