My wife and I kicked off our springtime “mile walks” on semi-dry pavement a little early this year, and April is one of the dustiest and muckiest we have seen in nearly 25 years. I’m grousing about all my “should haves”: I should have snowplowed the yard more often (snow glaciers are melting into driveway torrents). I should have hollered more at the grandkids to put away their bikes (handlebars are punching through the snow in unexpected places). Rain craters (potholes) are appearing on the highways. Maybe I should have voted “yes” on those road bonds after all. Ahhhh Break Up: We prayed that you’d come early, and now pray that you’ll leave early…
